Portrait photos cropped to landscape in gallery

Some of your vertical (portrait) photos appear cropped to landscape in the listing gallery on your website.

Why this happens. The website gallery displays photos in the orientation they were uploaded to your PMS. If a photo was already cropped to landscape before or during upload to your PMS, the website can only show that landscape crop. No website setting restores the missing image data.

What you can do.

  1. Open the photo in your PMS media library and compare it with your original file.
  2. If the PMS copy is already landscape, re-upload the original portrait file to your PMS. It then comes through to the website correctly.

Listings whose PMS files are true portraits display correctly with no site changes.
