Cloudflare verification page keeps looping

If you or your guests see Cloudflare’s ‘Verify you are human’ page and it keeps returning after the check is completed, the website itself is typically healthy.

Why this happens. The page comes from Cloudflare’s bot protection, a security layer that sits in front of your website. It is controlled by the settings in your domain’s Cloudflare account, not by your website’s content or hosting. Most visitors pass the check without ever seeing it. When it loops for a real person, the bot-protection settings on the Cloudflare account need adjusting. Server logs can confirm that normal traffic is serving correctly even while individual users experience the loop.

What you can do. The fix belongs to whoever administers your domain’s Cloudflare account. They can adjust the bot-protection settings, for example by relaxing the challenge rule or allowlisting affected users. As a temporary workaround, trying a different network, such as a phone on cellular data, can bypass the challenge.
