When a guest requests a password reset from the Guest Dashboard lost-password page, they receive an email with no content.
Why this happens. The lost-password email template in WordPress is empty. The body must include the {{ password_reset_url }} tag, or the reset link never appears.
How to fix it.
- Go to HomeRunner → Settings → Emails and open the Lost Password section.
- Fill in both the Subject and Body (HTML) fields, making sure the body includes
{{ password_reset_url }}. - Save the template.
- Have your guest request a fresh reset from
/guest-dashboard/?section=lostpasswordusing the email they booked with.
A working minimal template uses the subject Password Reset Requested and this body:
“ <p>Someone has requested a password reset for the following account:</p> <p>Email: {{ user.email }}</p> <p>If this was a mistake, ignore this email and nothing will happen.</p> <p>To reset your password, visit the following link:</p> <p>{{ password_reset_url }}</p> “
