HomeRunner connects Lodgify to your own website, whether you already run one or are choosing one now. Your listings, photos, rates and availability come in from Lodgify, and guests search, browse and build their quote on your site. Each property books the way it is set in Lodgify, and guests complete payment on Lodgify’s checkout page.
HomeRunner adds a booking engine to your own website; it does not replace Lodgify. Your reservations, rentals and rates stay managed in Lodgify, while your website, conversion tracking and property collections are managed in HomeRunner.
The Lodgify connection uses webhooks, so updates such as new bookings and price changes are pushed to HomeRunner near-instantly; you can also set an auto sync interval in minutes or run a sync by hand.
Listings & photos
Your Lodgify listings and photos are imported. A Lodgify listing description that follows HomeRunner’s structure also supplies house rules, access details, tags and custom fields such as bedrooms or Wi-Fi speed.
Rates & availability
Lodgify supplies your rates and calendar availability, and availability search and quote generation are supported for your connected properties.
Reservations
Reservation creation is supported for Lodgify. Each property books as instant booking, booking request or inquiry only, following its bookability setting in Lodgify.
Guest reviews
Review import is not available with Lodgify, so on WordPress existing reviews are added with HomeRunner Toolkit’s Review Importer, by CSV or one at a time.
Offers & discounts
Coupon validation is supported. Weekly and monthly discounts and upsells are not available with Lodgify.
Lodgify stays the source for your listings, rates and calendar.

Your direct booking website
Lodgify data. Your website, your brand.
Build on the site you already run, or plan a new one around your properties, destinations and brand, with multi-property search and property collections connected to your Lodgify listings.
01
Present your properties
Every Lodgify property becomes a full page of your website, built from its listing and photos. Guests search the portfolio with filters, check dates against your Lodgify calendar and get a quote on your site.
02
Build beyond the listing
Tags in your Lodgify descriptions assign categories, create property groups, define locations and mark featured properties, so the destination guides and campaign pages on your own site connect to the right properties.
03
Choose your design route
Your Lodgify listings work with the site you have, a studio template or a custom design; website development is separate from the HomeRunner subscription.
Your team keeps managing content and SEO where it already does; connecting Lodgify adds bookable listings, and search visibility still comes from your content and ongoing work.
Getting connected
How to connect Lodgify to your website.
You will need a website, HomeRunner, a Lodgify plan with API access (Starter, Professional or Ultimate) and the main account holder’s access to Lodgify, because sub-users cannot open the Public API section. WordPress and custom-coded sites are live today; Squarespace, Webflow and Wix are in early access.
You add the Lodgify connection in HomeRunner yourself or on a guided setup call.
Find your Lodgify API key
Copy your API key from the Public API section of your Lodgify settings.
Connect your Lodgify account
Add a Lodgify connection in HomeRunner, paste the API key and run the first sync, which imports all your Lodgify listings.
Review listings and booking settings
Check your Lodgify listings, rates and availability on your site. Each property takes its booking method from its bookability setting in Lodgify.
Test a booking and the payment step
Before launch, run a test booking: build the quote on your site, complete payment on Lodgify’s checkout page and check that the reservation is in Lodgify.
Guests search, browse and build their quote on your site, then complete payment on Lodgify’s checkout page. Direct checkout on your own site is not available with Lodgify.
Planning promo codes? Coupon validation is supported for Lodgify; weekly and monthly discounts and upsells are not.
Choosing your approach
Lodgify’s website and widgets, or HomeRunner on your own site?
Lodgify’s Starter, Professional and Ultimate plans include a bookable website, and Lodgify offers a Search Box and a Booking box widget for external sites such as WordPress. HomeRunner presents your Lodgify listings, search, availability and quotes on the website you already have. With either route, guests complete payment on Lodgify’s checkout page.
Your website + HomeRunner
A fit when your own website is central to your strategy and you want listing pages, multi-property search with filters, property collections and quotes built from your Lodgify data inside your own design, with conversion tracking managed in HomeRunner.
Lodgify’s native tools
Worth considering when Lodgify’s bookable website, Search Box or Booking box cover what you need. Lodgify recommends the Search Box, whose booking pages can show under a subdomain of your site, and Lodgify’s checkout supports add-ons.
No. Your reservations, rentals and rates stay managed in Lodgify. HomeRunner adds the booking experience to your website and connects it to your Lodgify account.
Is this Lodgify’s own WordPress plugin?
No. HomeRunner is a booking engine with a Lodgify integration. On WordPress it installs as a plugin; custom-coded sites are live too, with Squarespace, Webflow and Wix in early access. It connects with your Lodgify API key and keeps listings, search, availability and quotes on your own site, with payment on Lodgify’s checkout page. The WordPress.org plugin “Booking Engine by Lodgify” embeds the widget code Lodgify generates, and guests then continue to Lodgify’s All Properties, Rental and Checkout pages.
What do I need to connect Lodgify?
A website, HomeRunner and your Lodgify API key, which the main account holder copies from the Public API section of the Lodgify settings. API access comes with Lodgify’s Starter, Professional and Ultimate plans, not with Basic.
Are bookings recorded in Lodgify?
Yes. Reservation creation is supported for Lodgify, guests complete payment on Lodgify’s checkout page, and the reservation is managed in Lodgify. A property set to inquiry only in Lodgify takes an inquiry instead.
Can I offer promo codes and extras?
Promo codes, yes: coupon validation is supported for Lodgify. Weekly and monthly discounts and upsells are not available with Lodgify.
Can I use my existing website?
Yes. HomeRunner is added to the site you already run, without a rebuild, and connected to your Lodgify account. If your current site runs on Lodgify, a studio template or a custom-built website is an option. Squarespace, Webflow and Wix sites connect to Lodgify through early access.
