In the AI Booking Channel reads report, you may see a category labeled other. This is a deliberate catch-all category, not a miss.
Why this happens. The report names the AI crawlers on its list (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User and the other assistants’ fetchers). Every other visitor to your listing files is filed under other. This includes search-engine crawlers such as Googlebot and Bingbot, uptime monitors, SEO tools and scripts. A large other bucket means your machine-readable files are being read by many non-AI systems, which is normal.
Seeing what is inside it. Your server access log for the ai-sitemap and .md URLs shows the user agents.
