How to connect Hostaway to your website.
You will need a website, HomeRunner and access to your Hostaway dashboard. WordPress and custom-coded sites are live today; Squarespace, Webflow and Wix are in early access.

Check your account and gateway
Make sure your Hostaway account is active and your properties are connected to a valid payment processor.
Create one API key for HomeRunner
Create an API key in Hostaway with the Partner set to HomeRunner, and note your Account ID. Copy the key straight away, because Hostaway shows it only once.
Connect HomeRunner
Add a Hostaway connection in your HomeRunner dashboard with your Account ID and API key, and choose Instant Book or Reservation Request.
Configure and test checkout
If your Hostaway properties use Stripe, enter your live Stripe keys for each property in HomeRunner Central. Before launch, test the guest booking journey and verify the resulting reservation in Hostaway.

Your payment gateway sets the checkout route.
With Stripe connected to your Hostaway properties, HomeRunner handles the entire checkout on your website, so guests never leave your domain. Your live Stripe keys are entered per property in HomeRunner Central and synced to your site.
Using a gateway other than Stripe? It is supported through a hosted checkout: guests are redirected to the Hostaway booking engine to complete their payment.
Planning to offer extras? Upsells, coupon validation and weekly and monthly discounts are supported for Hostaway.

Hostaway’s own tools or your own website?
Hostaway offers its own Booking Website builder, a Booking Website Pro add-on and a Booking Engine, and sites built elsewhere can connect through its Open API. HomeRunner is another route for teams that want a Hostaway-connected booking engine on the website they already own.
