Blog posts not translating with GTranslate

Your site’s pages translate correctly, but some blog posts show untranslated text in one language version and incomplete translations in the others.

Why this happens. GTranslate translates content only from your site’s configured default language. If a blog post is written and published in a different language, GTranslate cannot translate it. The default-language version of the post displays the original text exactly as written, and the translations into other languages come out incomplete because the translation engine expects the default language as its source.

What you can do. Write and publish your posts in your site’s default language. GTranslate then generates all other language versions automatically, the same way it does for your site’s pages. Posts already published in another language continue to display this way until you replace their source text with a version written in your site’s default language.

Changing your site’s default language to match your posts is usually the wrong fix, because it breaks translation for every other page on your site.
