When a guest tries to book, the booking widget shows the message ‘All rate plans are not applicable, as we found business restriction’. This message comes from Guesty, not from the booking website itself.
Why this happens. The message means no rate plan synced to the Booking Engine channel can accommodate the requested stay. The website passes the request through correctly. The error is triggered entirely by rate plan or business rules configured in Guesty for that listing.
Common causes include a minimum-stay rule for those dates, a rate plan that does not cover the requested dates at all, an advance booking notice or booking-window restriction, or closed arrival and departure day rules (CTA/CTD). A frequent scenario is having only a Non-Refundable or promotional rate plan that carries advance notice requirements, with no basic rate plan alongside it. Even when the calendar shows the dates as available, Guesty refuses to quote if none of the active rate plans can satisfy all the restrictions.
What you can do. In Guesty, go to Marketing and sales > Revenue management > Rate plans and review the rate plans synced to the Booking Engine channel. Then choose one of these options:
- Adjust the restrictions on your existing plan so it covers the affected dates and stay lengths.
- Add a second basic rate plan with no availability restrictions and sync it to the Booking Engine.
Guesty’s recommended approach is to add a basic plan, which keeps your restricted promotional offers available for stays that do qualify.
