Streamline VRS WordPress integration for direct bookings
HomeRunner connects Streamline VRS to the website you already have. Bring in your properties, photos, availability and quotes, let guests book through your site, and keep running your operations in Streamline VRS. Bookings made on your site are created as reservations in Streamline VRS.
HomeRunner adds a booking engine to your own website; it does not replace Streamline VRS. Streamline VRS stays the source of truth for rates, availability and bookings.
Webhook updates are not available with the Streamline VRS connection, so HomeRunner fetches your data on a schedule: an availability or pricing change can take up to an hour to reach your website. You can also sync the Streamline VRS connection manually.
Listings & photos
Your properties, photos and property custom fields come from your Streamline VRS account.

Reservations

Streamline VRS data. Your website, your brand.
Start from the site you already run, or build a new one around your Streamline VRS properties, destinations and brand.
01
Present your properties
Your Streamline VRS properties, photos and property custom fields become booking pages where guests check dates, see a quote and book.
02
Build beyond the listing
Add destination guides, local recommendations and campaign pages on your own site, and link each one to the Streamline VRS properties it helps sell.
03
Choose your design route
Keep your existing site, or replace a Streamline-built one with a studio template or a custom design; website development is a separate service from the HomeRunner subscription.
Your team keeps managing content and SEO where it already does; HomeRunner adds the search, property pages and checkout that run on your Streamline VRS data.
Getting connected
How to connect Streamline VRS to your website.
You will need a website, HomeRunner and API access for your Streamline VRS account. WordPress and custom-coded sites are live today; Squarespace, Webflow and Wix are in early access.
HomeRunner charges no fees until you go live, so you can request Streamline VRS API access and test the connection first.
Request API access
Streamline VRS restricts API access to preferred partners and clients with approved access for website development, so request access for your account before you connect.
Get your API tokens
API tokens for Streamline VRS are created and renewed in its Partner X portal.
Connect HomeRunner
Add a Streamline VRS connection in your HomeRunner dashboard, enter the API credentials and run the first sync to bring in your properties, photos and availability.
Test a booking before launch
Place a test booking through to card entry on the Streamline-hosted page, check the reservation in Streamline VRS, and allow up to an hour for calendar changes to reach your site.
Bookings & payments
Choose the checkout that fits your setup.
Guests check Streamline VRS availability, see a quote and book through your site. Card entry happens on a Streamline-hosted payment page.
Planning to offer extras? Upsells are supported with Streamline VRS; coupon validation and weekly and monthly discounts are not available, so plan your offers without promo codes.
Choosing your approach
Streamline VRS’s own websites or a website you own?
Streamline VRS offers its own Direct Booking Websites with built-in payment processing and hosts vacation rental websites. Its Open API also lets clients build their own website or give a partner access to build one. HomeRunner connects Streamline VRS to a site you choose: your existing site, a studio template or a custom build with your own design partner.
Your website + HomeRunner
A fit when you want to run your own website in place of a Streamline-built or Streamline-hosted site. Your design, content workflow and web partner stay as they are, with properties, availability, quotes, bookings and upsells connected through HomeRunner while Streamline VRS keeps property operations. Streamline VRS data refreshes on a scheduled sync, not by webhook.
Streamline VRS’s native tools
Worth considering when you prefer a website that communicates natively with the Streamline PMS, or one package: Streamline One brings websites, digital marketing and payments together under one contract and one invoice.
HomeRunner is not a plugin made by Streamline. It is a Hudson Creative Studio product: a booking engine with a Streamline VRS integration, separate from the WordPress plugin Streamline described in 2014 behind its own website templates. On WordPress it installs as a plugin; custom-coded sites are live too, with Squarespace, Webflow and Wix in early access.
