You change a property collection, group, amenity, or Things To Do place in WordPress, and the change does not stay.
Why this happens. Property groups, collections, and amenities come from tags in Hostaway. Your site re-reads Hostaway every five minutes and replaces whatever was set in WordPress. A group that exists only in WordPress, with no matching Hostaway tag, never holds an assignment. Things To Do places come from your Hostfully guidebook on the same schedule, and the sync republishes every place that still exists in Hostfully.
Property groups, collections, and amenities. Make the edit in Hostaway:
- To take a unit out of a collection, remove the collection tag from it.
- To change what appears in the Featured Homes block, adjust the Featured tag, which the block follows.
- To hide a unit from the whole site, add the tag homerunner-exclude.
Your site picks up the change within five minutes.
Things To Do places. Edit places in Hostfully. To remove a place, delete it in Hostfully first, then trash it in WordPress.
Seeing your changes. Visitors can see a saved copy of a page for up to an hour after an edit. The logged-in view is always current.
