Track PMS WordPress integration for direct bookings
HomeRunner connects Track PMS to the website you already have with a booking engine you add to the site. Guests search your Track units, check dates and see a quote on your site. By default, guests pay on Track’s hosted checkout; on-site checkout is available on request. Track PMS stays the source of truth for rates, availability and bookings.
HomeRunner adds a booking engine to your own website; it does not replace Track PMS. HomeRunner reads your units, rates and availability through Track’s PMS API, authorized with a Server Key from your Track account.
The HomeRunner connection does not receive Track webhook updates, so HomeRunner fetches your data on a schedule. A change you make in Track PMS, such as a new booking or a rate update, can take up to 60 minutes to reach your website.
Listings & photos
Properties, photos and property custom fields are brought in from your Track PMS account. Every unit is imported unless you set tag filters, which read a unit-level custom field named “Tags” that you create in Track.
Rates & availability
Availability calendars, availability search and quotes on your site are built from the rates and availability in Track PMS. Prices come from one rate type in Track: the default rate type Track returns for each unit, unless you select a different one. A unit with no rates loaded in Track cannot be priced on your site.
Reservations
Reservation creation is supported with the Track PMS connection. With Track’s hosted checkout, the default for a new connection, the reservation is created in Track PMS as usual. You set the default reservation method for the Track connection: Instant Booking, or Reservation Request, where guests request to book and you approve.
Guest reviews
Review import from Track PMS is not available with this connection.
Offers & discounts
Coupon validation, weekly and monthly discounts and upsells are not available with the Track PMS connection.
Track PMS stays the source for your listings, rates and calendar.

Your direct booking website
Track PMS data. Your website, your brand.
Add a Track-connected booking engine to the site you already run, or plan a new site as its own project, built around your properties, destinations and brand.
01
Present your properties
Build your booking pages from the units, photos and property custom fields in your Track PMS account, and use a Featured Tag to mark the units your site should highlight.
02
Build beyond the listing
Add destination guides, local recommendations and campaign pages on your own site, and link them to the Track units they describe.
03
Choose your design route
Keep your existing site, start from a studio template, or plan a custom design; the design work is scoped separately from the HomeRunner subscription that connects the site to Track PMS.
Your team keeps managing content and SEO where it already does, while units, rates and availability keep coming from Track PMS.
Getting connected
How to connect Track PMS to your website.
You will need a website, HomeRunner, a Server Key from your own Track PMS account (an API Key and API Secret, created for HomeRunner) and your Track Base URL, which is your account address ending in /api. WordPress and custom-coded sites are live today; Squarespace, Webflow and Wix are in early access.
Track data is fetched on a schedule, so when you test, allow up to 60 minutes for a change made in Track PMS to reach your website.
Find your Track Base URL
Log in to Track PMS with a user that has access to company configuration and copy your account address; with /api added to the end, it is your Base URL.
Create API credentials in your Track account
In Track PMS, create a Server Key for HomeRunner and copy the Key and Secret that Track displays. A Channel Key does not work for this connection; if you don’t see a Server Key option, your Track account manager or Track support can enable it.
Connect HomeRunner
In the HomeRunner dashboard, add a Track connection with your API Key, API Secret and Base URL, and choose Instant Booking or Reservation Request. Run the first sync, select a rate type if your public pricing is not on Track’s default one, then add HomeRunner to your website.
Configure and test checkout
Guests pay on Track’s hosted checkout by default; the HomeRunner team enables on-site checkout on request. Make a test booking and check that the reservation appears in Track PMS.
Bookings & payments
Choose the checkout route for your setup.
A new Track PMS connection uses Track’s hosted checkout. Guests check dates and see a quote on your site; when they click Book, HomeRunner sends them to the checkout page of your Track booking engine for that unit and those dates. They pay there, and the reservation is created in Track PMS as usual.
On-site checkout, where guests stay on your website through payment, is also supported for Track connections; the HomeRunner team enables it on request. External payment gateways are supported with Track PMS too: see the gateways HomeRunner supports.
Planning to offer extras? Coupon validation, weekly and monthly discounts and upsells are not available with the Track PMS connection, so plan your booking flow without them.
Choosing your approach
Track’s own direct booking tools or HomeRunner on your own website?
Track offers its own Direct Booking Solutions, including the Track Booking Engine, which connects a website directly to Track PMS, and Track Website Design & Development, where Track’s team builds the site on WordPress. HomeRunner covers one piece: a Track-connected booking engine for the site you choose. That can be your existing site, a studio template or a custom build with your own design partner.
Your website + HomeRunner
A fit when you want to evaluate the booking engine separately from a managed website build: your own site and design partner, with properties, availability and quotes connected through HomeRunner while Track PMS keeps property operations. Guests pay on Track’s hosted checkout by default, or on your website when on-site checkout is enabled. A change in Track PMS can take up to 60 minutes to reach your website, and review import, coupon validation, weekly and monthly discounts and upsells are not available with this connection.
Track’s native tools
Worth considering when you prefer Track as the single vendor for the website, booking engine and PMS. Track describes its Booking Engine as showing real-time availability synced with Track PMS, with payment through Track’s own PCI-compliant payment experience and add-ons in the booking step. Track says you can choose one of its Direct Booking Solutions or implement them all.
HomeRunner is not a plugin made by Track. It is a Hudson Creative Studio product: a booking engine with a Track PMS integration, separate from Track’s own Booking Engine. On WordPress it installs as a plugin; custom-coded sites are live too, with Squarespace, Webflow and Wix in early access.
What do I need to connect Track PMS?
A website, HomeRunner, and two things from Track PMS: a Server Key (an API Key and API Secret) and your Base URL, which is your account address ending in /api. You create the key with a Track user that has access to company configuration; a Channel Key does not work for this connection.
Do guests stay on my website for checkout?
By default, no: a new Track PMS connection uses Track’s hosted checkout. When a guest clicks Book, HomeRunner sends them to the checkout page of your Track booking engine, and they enter payment there. On-site checkout, where guests stay on your website through payment, is also supported for Track connections; the HomeRunner team enables it on request.
Where do website bookings appear?
In Track PMS. With Track’s hosted checkout, the default for a new connection, the reservation is created in Track PMS as usual. A new booking in Track PMS can take up to 60 minutes to reach your website.
Can I offer promo codes and discounts with Track PMS?
Not through HomeRunner. Coupon validation, weekly and monthly discounts and upsells are not available with the Track PMS connection.
Can I use my existing website with Track PMS?
Yes. HomeRunner can be added to an existing site, so you can plan the booking integration with Track PMS separately from a redesign.
