Max Conversation Turns does not limit how many messages your visitors can send. Nobody is ever blocked, and no error or limit message is ever shown. Visitors can keep chatting with the AI Concierge as long as they like.
What the setting controls. It sets how much of the earlier conversation the assistant re-reads each time it replies. One turn is one exchange: the visitor’s message plus the assistant’s answer. At the default of 10, the assistant considers the most recent 10 exchanges when it writes its next reply, and older messages fall outside that window. The setting exists to keep response costs predictable on very long conversations.
Choosing a value. Leave it at 10 unless you have a specific reason to change it. Most real conversations end well before 10 exchanges, so the setting rarely comes into play. Raise it, up to 30, if your guests tend to have long, detailed conversations and you want the assistant to keep referring back to things said much earlier.
Do not leave the field blank when you save. Enter a number; the minimum is 3.
Any search filters your visitor has set, such as destination, dates, or bedrooms, are tracked separately and are not affected by this setting.
