Your image optimization plugin, such as Imagify or ShortPixel, does not compress or convert your HomeRunner property photos. This is expected behavior.
Why this happens. Image optimization plugins like Imagify and ShortPixel only work on images stored in your WordPress media library, which are the files you upload. HomeRunner property photos are never uploaded to your media library. They come directly from your property management system and are served from HomeRunner’s side, so a media-library optimizer never sees them and cannot convert or compress them.
How property photos are optimized. Optimizing property photos is handled on the HomeRunner side. HomeRunner offers an Image Optimizer that routes property images through HomeRunner’s image service. The images are automatically resized and cached to the size the page actually needs, instead of loading the full-size originals. On pages that display many listings, this removes a large amount of image weight.
