HomeRunner for custom-coded sites

HomeRunner on a custom-coded site for direct bookings

Built on Next.js, Astro, a static generator, Lovable or hand-written HTML? HomeRunner adds search, property pages, booking and checkout to it with drop-in widgets, synced live to your PMS. Live today. No rebuild.

How it works

Widgets your developer drops into the pages you already have.

Each widget is a small script embed. Paste it where you want search, listings, a property page or checkout to render, and HomeRunner fills it with live data from your PMS.

Widgets are configured in your HomeRunner dashboard, so styling and behaviour changes do not need a deploy.

Search
Search bar, destination search and filters that lead to live results.
Listings
Explorer grids, maps, property cards and saved properties.
Property pages
Gallery, description, amenities, calendar, reviews, map and related properties, or one complete property page layout.
Booking and checkout
Date picker, quote, checkout and confirmation on your domain, with the reservation sent to your PMS.
For developers
An API for teams that want to render their own interface from the same data. Ask us about access.

Your website

Your framework. Your design system. Your deploy pipeline.

HomeRunner loads into the markup you already serve. Nothing about how you build or host the site has to change.

Keep your stack

Nothing moves to a new host. Widgets load from HomeRunner and render inside your pages.

Style it your way

Set colours, type and spacing in the dashboard, or override with your own CSS.

Ship on your schedule

Listings, rates and availability update from your PMS without a redeploy. Your developer places the embed once.

Getting started

How to set up HomeRunner on a custom site.

You will need a developer who can edit your site’s templates, a HomeRunner account and administrator access to your PMS.

Talk through your setup

Setup time depends on your PMS account, how many pages you are wiring up and payment readiness.

  1. Create your account and connect your PMS

Sign up, add the PMS connection in your HomeRunner dashboard and check the imported listings, rates and availability.

  2. Pick your pages

Decide which routes host search, listings, property details and checkout. Most sites use one route per type.

  3. Place the widgets

Paste the embed code into your templates and set the options in the dashboard.

  4. Test a booking and launch

Run a test reservation end to end, confirm it in your PMS, then publish.

What you need

A site you control, and someone who can edit it.

Any site where you can add a script tag is a candidate: Next.js, Nuxt, Astro, Hugo, Eleventy, Rails, Laravel, Lovable builds and plain HTML included.

Use the complete listings, property page and checkout layouts, or compose individual widgets inside your own page design. Both draw on the same PMS connection.

Choosing your approach

Complete layouts or individual widgets?

Both are the same subscription. The difference is how much of the page design you want to own.

Complete layouts
Listings, property page and checkout as ready-made layouts. The fastest route to live.
Individual widgets
Gallery, calendar, reviews and the rest placed one by one in your own page design. More control, more to arrange.

Do I need WordPress?

No. The widgets run on any site that can load a script tag.

Can I style the widgets to match my site?

Yes. Theme options live in the dashboard, and your own CSS can override them.

Is checkout on my domain?

It depends on your PMS. Several run the full checkout on your domain; others hand the final payment step to a PMS-hosted page. See feature support by PMS.

Is there an API?

Yes, for teams that want to build their own interface from the same data. Ask us about access.

Do you build custom-coded sites?

Hudson Creative Studio builds WordPress sites. On other stacks your developer places the widgets and we support the setup through launch.

Does the site stay on my hosting?

Yes. Your pages stay where they are. HomeRunner serves the widgets and the PMS data into them.

Add a booking engine to the site your developer built.
