On mobile, the HomeRunner explorer shows its search form, but the property grid stays empty. This happens on Divi-built sites when the module containing the [homerunner-explorer] shortcode has per-device (phone or tablet) settings.
Why this happens. When device-specific settings are present, Divi 5 rewrites a module’s content at narrow widths. This disconnects the explorer after it has loaded.
Quick check. On a desktop browser, shrink the window until the layout switches to tablet width. If the property grid disappears at that point, the page has this problem.
How to fix it. Clear two things on the module that holds the shortcode:
- Content tab: remove any phone or tablet responsive variants on the field holding the shortcode. Right-click the field label, choose Reset, then paste the shortcode back once so a single value applies to all devices.
- Advanced tab, Visibility: uncheck anything under Disable on for phone and tablet, and remove per-device display conditions.
Check the parent row and section for the same toggles.
After saving, exit the builder and reopen it to confirm the change persisted, as a first save can sometimes fail to stick. Then clear the site cache and reload the page on a phone.
Different layouts for desktop and mobile. If you need them, use CSS-based show/hide rather than Divi per-device content settings around any HomeRunner widget.
