Gallery photos broken after image optimization plugin

After you install an image optimization plugin, the gallery photos on your property pages show as broken images.

Why this happens. The image optimization plugin rewrites the page HTML and corrupts the gallery image addresses that HomeRunner Toolkit generates.

There are two ways to fix it.

Option 1: update HomeRunner Toolkit. Update HomeRunner Toolkit to version 3.239.4 or later in Dashboard → Updates. This release changes how gallery image addresses are written so that HTML-rewriting plugins leave them intact. Reload a property page after updating, and the gallery should render immediately.

Option 2: change the WebP Express settings. If you cannot update right away, open WebP Express → Settings → Alter HTML and either switch the mode from "output buffer" to the content-filter option, or turn Alter HTML off entirely. This stops the plugin from rewriting the gallery markup. Local images are still served as WebP through the plugin’s redirect rules.

Running more than one optimizer. Running two image optimizers at the same time, for example WebP Express and Smush, can cause overlapping rewrites. Keeping only one active is simpler and avoids this kind of problem.
