Bookings tracked as generate_lead in GA4

Some bookings appear in GA4 as a generate_lead event instead of purchase.

Why this happens. Bookings that arrive as an inquiry or request fire generate_lead rather than purchase. They keep that event type even after your PMS confirms them.

What you can do. You have two options:

1. Include generate_lead alongside purchase when you reconcile totals.
2. Enable Trigger Purchase on Inquiry in the HomeRunner plugin under Advanced settings > Analytics so that all reservations fire a purchase event.
