Map providers and Google Maps API keys

Your HomeRunner site can display maps using one of two providers.

  1. Leaflet (OpenStreetMap) works out of the box. It needs no API key and no Google account.
  2. Google Maps requires a Google Maps API key created under your own Google account.

If your Google key is invalid, or you do not want to manage one, support can switch your site to Leaflet, and your maps work immediately.
