You have changed a listing’s External Listing Name in Hostaway, but your website still shows the old name after syncing.
Why this happens. The property title on your site comes from the listing’s description record in HomeRunner. For properties that already exist on a connection, HomeRunner only re-syncs the field groups enabled under that connection’s existing-property sync settings. On some connections, the Descriptions group, which carries the listing name, is not included by default. Running a manual sync from the plugin does not pull the updated name until Descriptions is enabled for existing properties on that connection.
What you can do. You have two options.
- Contact HomeRunner support and ask them to enable the Descriptions group in the existing-property sync fields for your connection, then run a sync. After that, future name changes in Hostaway flow through to your site automatically.
- Edit the property title directly in WordPress. Because the Descriptions group is not re-synced for existing properties on that connection, your manual edit holds and is not overwritten by later syncs.
If the Descriptions group is later enabled on the connection, the name from Hostaway replaces any edit you have made in WordPress.
