# Hostaway listing name not updating on site

You have changed a listing's **External Listing Name** in Hostaway, but your website still shows the old name after syncing.

**Why this happens.** The property title on your site comes from the listing's description record in HomeRunner. For properties that already exist on a connection, HomeRunner only re-syncs the field groups enabled under that connection's existing-property sync settings. On some connections, the **Descriptions** group, which carries the listing name, is not included by default. Running a manual sync from the plugin does not pull the updated name until **Descriptions** is enabled for existing properties on that connection.

**What you can do.** You have two options.

1. Contact HomeRunner support and ask them to enable the **Descriptions** group in the existing-property sync fields for your connection, then run a sync. After that, future name changes in Hostaway flow through to your site automatically.
2. Edit the property title directly in WordPress. Because the **Descriptions** group is not re-synced for existing properties on that connection, your manual edit holds and is not overwritten by later syncs.

If the **Descriptions** group is later enabled on the connection, the name from Hostaway replaces any edit you have made in WordPress.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
