Keeping your own property pages with HomeRunner

You can keep your existing property pages and still use HomeRunner for search, calendar, and checkout. The HomeRunner Toolkit includes a module called External Property Pages, available in Toolkit 3.277.15 and later.

Setting it up.

  1. In the Toolkit Hub, switch on External Property Pages.
  2. Paste each property’s page URL into the field beside it.
  3. Click Save External Pages.

The same URL field is also available on each property’s individual edit screen under External Property Page.

What changes. Every HomeRunner link to that property opens your page instead of the HomeRunner one. This includes search results, map pins, related-property links, sitemap entries, and widgets. A guest who searched with dates and guest count arrives with those values already filled in on the calendar and booking widget. The HomeRunner property page redirects to your page and is removed from the sitemap automatically.

Properties you leave blank continue to use their HomeRunner page, so you can migrate one property at a time.

Adding the calendar and booking widget. To embed the calendar and booking widget on your existing pages, use the HomeRunner shortcodes for that property’s ID.
