You may see bookings confirmed on your site even though the guest’s payment did not go through.
Why this happens. The booking flow completes the reservation before the Stripe payment intent confirms as successful.
How to fix it. The solution is to add a pre-authorization verification layer after checkout details are submitted. With this in place, a reservation is only created once Stripe confirms the payment, so guests do not receive booking confirmations unless payment actually processes.
