When you open a subdomain on your site, the browser shows ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS or a message that the page "redirected you too many times."
Why this happens. The subdomain’s DNS record in Cloudflare has the proxy turned on (orange cloud), and the third-party service hosting that page also enforces HTTPS. Cloudflare and the external service keep bouncing the request back and forth.
How to fix it.
- Go to Cloudflare DNS.
- Find the record for that subdomain.
- Change Proxy status from Proxied to DNS only (grey cloud).
The record’s target address stays the same. The link should start working within a few minutes.
Browsers cache redirect loops for a while, so visitors who already saw the error may need to do a hard refresh or open a private window.
