When a guest selects a rate plan other than the default (such as Non-Refundable) during checkout, the Gravity Forms checkout shows the default plan’s price, and the booking is created on the default plan in your PMS.
Why this happens. This is caused by a bug in versions of the HomeRunner Gravityform plugin prior to 0.5.1. Those versions price the checkout form from the quote’s first rate plan and do not pass the guest’s chosen plan to HomeRunner in the field the booking service reads. As a result, the default plan is always booked regardless of what the guest selects. Sites whose quotes only ever have one rate plan are not affected by this bug.
How to fix it. Update the HomeRunner Gravityform plugin to version 0.5.1 or later. The plugin does not update itself from the WordPress admin, so you need to install the release ZIP manually.
- Download the release ZIP from: https://homerunner.io/wp-content/uploads/releases/homerunner-gravityform-0.5.1.zip
- Install it manually, the same way the plugin was originally installed.
- Make one test booking on a non-default rate plan.
- Confirm in your PMS that the reservation carries that plan and its correct price.
