Google Vacation Rentals: not enough quality images

Your listing fails on Google Vacation Rentals with the error "Not enough images with google required quality."

Why this happens. Google requires at least 8 landscape-orientation photos at 1024×683 pixels or larger per listing. Google reads these photos from the structured data on each property page, not from the photo gallery visitors see on your site. The smaller gallery sizes (for example 800×600) are normal and are not what Google evaluates. HomeRunner property pages provide Google with full-resolution original photos from your PMS library, up to 20 per listing. This applies to sites running HomeRunner Toolkit 3.135.0 or newer with the structured-data enrichment enabled by the HomeRunner team. If you are unsure whether your site has it, contact support to confirm.

What you can do. If a listing still fails:

  1. Check that the listing’s PMS photo library contains at least 8 landscape photos at 1024×683 or larger. Libraries made up of smaller files (around 1200 pixels wide) or mostly vertical (portrait) shots are the usual cause of a listing that keeps failing.
  2. Re-upload larger landscape originals to your PMS. This resolves the error.
  3. After fixing the photos, retry the failed listings from the Google Vacation Rentals dashboard.
