If you have multiple languages set up in Guesty, your listings may show the wrong language as the default description. This is a known issue with how HomeRunner handles multi-language content from Guesty.
Why this happens. HomeRunner stores one base description plus one group per additional language from your PMS. The base group is chosen by matching the US English version under the exact key en_US. Guesty returns locale keys in lowercase (en_us), so the match is missed, and whichever language version happens to arrive first becomes the default instead.
What you can do. Keep English keyed as en_us in Guesty, as expected. HomeRunner support can apply an interim correction to your site that makes your intended primary language the base automatically after each sync.
Individual language versions are unaffected, and visitors who switch languages see the correct content.
