Why this happens. When the Booking Engine API channel is turned on for a fee in Guesty, Guesty includes that fee in every quote it sends through the API, regardless of the guest’s choice.
What to do. To keep travel insurance optional, leave the Booking Engine API channel unchecked on the travel insurance fee and rely on the upsell setting instead.
