After you change your location settings, the destination dropdown in the search bar may still show the old list.
Why this happens. Your visitors’ browsers and the server’s page cache both store the destination list for up to an hour, so changes do not appear immediately.
What you can do. As of HomeRunner Toolkit v3.106.0, saving the Searchbar Pro settings automatically triggers a refresh, so every visitor’s next page load fetches the updated destination list. If the dropdown still looks stale:
- Click the Flush destination cache button at the bottom of the Searchbar Pro settings page.
- Reload your site in a regular (non-admin) browser window to confirm the change.
On older versions of the Toolkit, the only option is to wait for the cache to expire, which can take up to one hour.
