Site loads two GA4 measurement IDs

Your pages may load two GA4 Measurement IDs. One of them is HomeRunner’s own default GA4 property.

Why this happens. When the HomeRunner Toolkit’s Conversion Tracking fields are empty, the Toolkit loads HomeRunner’s default GA4 property so that booking events are still recorded somewhere. The second ID you see is that default.

What you can do.

  1. Open the Toolkit’s Conversion Tracking settings.
  2. Enter your own GA4 Measurement ID (G-XXXXXXX).
  3. If a separate hard-coded GA4 snippet also exists on your site, remove it so GA4 is configured only once.

The Toolkit then loads your property once and sends view_item, begin_checkout and purchase events to it, and the default ID no longer appears on your pages.

To verify. View the page source while logged out and confirm there is exactly one gtag config line with your ID.
