Rental agreement shows curly-brace placeholders

Your guests see text such as {reservations.unit_name}, {initial}, or {signature} in the rental agreement at checkout.

Why this happens. The Default Rental Agreement in HomeRunner Settings, on the Reservation Settings tab in the Checkout section, is displayed to guests exactly as written. Placeholders from other systems are not replaced with real values.

What you can do. Edit the agreement text and remove or reword any lines that contain those placeholders. The checkout page already displays the home’s name and stay dates alongside the agreement, and guests accept it with a checkbox, so signature and initial fields are not needed.
