A quote can fail with the error "This property allows a maximum of N adults" even though the property sleeps more guests than that.
Why this happens. OwnerRez properties can have both a total guest limit (the sleeps number) and a separate adult limit. When the booking form sends one combined guest count, OwnerRez treats every guest as an adult. A party larger than the adult limit then triggers the error, even if the total sleeps count is higher.
How to fix it. Enable the Guest Picker module in HomeRunner Toolkit (WordPress admin > Toolkit > Guest Picker). The booking form then asks your guests for Adults, Children, and Pets separately, caps the Adults stepper at the limit set in OwnerRez for that property, and sends the split party to OwnerRez correctly. For example, a family of 2 adults and 6 children can get a quote on a property that sleeps 18 with a 6-adult limit.
Where the adult limit is set. You set the adult limit in OwnerRez under Property > Rules > Occupancy & Suitability, in the Maximum Adults Allowed field. It syncs to your site on the next scheduled sync.
Current limitation. The trip search on the properties page still matches the party total against the sleeps number only. It does not yet filter by adults and children separately.
