Granting HomeRunner access to your GTM container

If you granted HomeRunner access to your Google Tag Manager account only, the account appears with no containers and in read-only mode, so nothing can be created or published.

Why this happens. Account-level access in Google Tag Manager does not include the container your website loads.

What to do. Grant Edit and Publish permissions on the specific container (the one with your GTM-XXXXXXX ID):

  1. Open the container.
  2. Go to Admin.
  3. Open User Management under the container column.
  4. Add the HomeRunner email with Edit and Publish permissions.
