Guests can still make same-day or last-minute bookings on your site, even though you have set a check-in cutoff.
Why this happens. Your site enforces advance notice only through a setting that is off by default.
How to turn it on.
- In the HomeRunner property settings, enable Validate advance booking hour.
- Set Advance Notice Hours to the minimum number of hours required before check-in (for example 24 or 48).
- Save.
Advance Notice Hours is a site-wide value. While it is set, it applies to every listing and overrides any per-listing advance notice.
Checking that it works. Try to book a same-day or next-day stay. The booking is stopped with a message that the property requires at least that many hours of advance notice. The calendar may still let a guest select the dates. The block is applied when your site prices the stay and when the guest tries to complete the booking.
