You only need Guesty tags for information HomeRunner cannot already read from Guesty directly.
What does not need a tag. HomeRunner reads the bedroom count from Guesty and builds a search dropdown from that field. Amenities that map cleanly to a Guesty amenity, such as beachfront, water access, or pool, are filterable without a tag.
Views. Use tags for views when your definition is finer than the amenity list, for example beach view versus beachfront, or pool view versus having a pool.
Resorts or communities. Use tags with a consistent prefix, such as resort-Runaway-Bay, so the system can tell programmatically which tags are resort names.
New listings. Tag the listings you consider new rather than relying on the created date.
Badges and labels. Use a tag for anything you want shown as a visual badge or label on a property card.
Naming your tags. Pick a tag name, keep it consistent, and reuse it exactly.
