After you apply a filter on the listings page, the other filters stop responding and the map does not work. Switching from Google Maps to Leaflet makes the problem go away.
Why this happens. Your Google Maps API key is not authorized for your website’s domain. When the key is not authorized, Google disables its mapping functions, which triggers a JavaScript error partway through the filter update. That error interrupts the filter response handler, so the remaining steps never run, including the ones that re-enable the filter controls and update the result count. The result is a broken map and filters that appear frozen after you apply one. Leaflet does not use a Google API key, so it is unaffected.
What you can do. To stay on Google Maps, add your website’s domain to the authorized referrers list for your Google Maps API key in the Google Cloud Console. If you would rather keep using Leaflet, no extra configuration is needed.
