When you connect your Guesty account to HomeRunner, the OAuth credentials you entered return 401 errors.
Why this happens. Guesty has two separate sets of OAuth credentials: one for the Booking Engine API and one for the Open API. HomeRunner requires credentials from the Open API. Credentials from the Booking Engine API section in Guesty return 401 errors because they are scoped to a different endpoint.
What you can do. Use either of these options:
- Generate new OAuth credentials from the Open API section in your Guesty account settings.
- Invite HomeRunner support to your Guesty account at the integration-manager access level so support can create the correct credentials directly.
