You update photos in your PMS, but days later the listing page on your website still shows the old ones.
Why this happens. The sync delivers new photos to the website quickly, often within the hour. What visitors see, however, is a saved copy of the page held by the hosting server’s page cache, which can keep a stale copy for days. Clearing your own browser cache does not affect this server-side cache.
How to confirm the cause. Open the listing URL with a throwaway query string added, for example ?v=1. If that version shows the new photos while the plain URL still shows the old ones, the page cache is the cause.
How to fix it. Whoever manages your hosting needs to purge the page cache.
How to prevent it. Set the cache lifetime to a few hours, or configure the cache to clear a listing’s page automatically when that listing is updated.
