# Listing page still shows old photos

You update photos in your PMS, but days later the listing page on your website still shows the old ones.

**Why this happens.** The sync delivers new photos to the website quickly, often within the hour. What visitors see, however, is a saved copy of the page held by the hosting server's page cache, which can keep a stale copy for days. Clearing your own browser cache does not affect this server-side cache.

**How to confirm the cause.** Open the listing URL with a throwaway query string added, for example ?v=1. If that version shows the new photos while the plain URL still shows the old ones, the page cache is the cause.

**How to fix it.** Whoever manages your hosting needs to purge the page cache.

**How to prevent it.** Set the cache lifetime to a few hours, or configure the cache to clear a listing's page automatically when that listing is updated.
