If you installed a HomeRunner plugin from a ZIP link in an older email, the plugin can show an earlier version than the current release.
Why this happens. ZIP links in emails point at the specific build that was current when the email was written. As new releases ship, those links go stale.
Getting to the latest version. HomeRunner sites check in with the HomeRunner update server automatically, so the latest version appears as a normal one-click update on the WordPress Plugins screen. Running that update brings the plugin forward again.
The always-current download source is the HomeRunner Downloads page at homerunner.io/downloads, which lists the latest build and changelog for every HomeRunner plugin. Installing a newer version over an older one this way is safe, and your settings are preserved.
