Your HomeRunner site supports this flow natively, and it requires no extra integration.
How it works. When a guest books on your HomeRunner site, HomeRunner creates the reservation in Hostaway through the API. Hostaway then returns its guest payment link for that reservation, and your site redirects the guest there to complete payment. The payment collection configured in your Hostaway account, including ChargeAutomation, handles the charge on that page.
What needs to be in place. Two settings are required:
- Your HomeRunner account must be set to create confirmed reservations with a payment redirect, rather than sending bookings through as inquiries. Contact HomeRunner support to make this change.
- In Hostaway, ChargeAutomation must be configured to collect payment on Hostaway’s guest payment page.
