Reducing Activity Counter background traffic

Each visitor’s browser polls the server to keep the Conversion Kit’s live-viewer counter up to date. On a busy site, you can reduce this background traffic by raising the Activity Counter refresh interval.

1. Go to HomeRunner Conversion Kit settings.
2. Open the Activity Counter section.
3. Increase the Update interval value, which is set in seconds.

The default is 30 seconds. A higher value, such as 120 seconds, reduces how often each visitor’s browser polls the server.
