Changing the calendar week start day

If your booking calendars start the week on Monday and you want them to start on Sunday, you can change this in WordPress.

Why this happens. HomeRunner calendars, including the search date picker, the availability calendar on property pages, and the booking widget, all follow the WordPress Week Starts On setting. No HomeRunner-specific setting needs to change.

To change the first day of the week:

1. In the WordPress admin, go to Settings > General.
2. Set Week Starts On to Sunday.
3. Save your changes.

Every HomeRunner calendar on your site picks up the new first day on the next page load. If you still see Monday first, clear the site cache and hard-refresh a property page to confirm the change.

Things to keep in mind. This setting is site-wide, so it also affects date pickers inside the WordPress admin. If you run several sites, the setting is per site, so check each one separately. If a property uses a booking widget embedded directly from your PMS rather than the HomeRunner widget, that widget follows your PMS’s own calendar settings instead.
