Bedroom Showcase: photos from listing captions

The Bedroom Showcase can fill bedrooms automatically from your listing photo captions, so you do not have to add image links to each bedroom photo field by hand. This feature requires HomeRunner Toolkit 3.246.0 or newer.

Turning it on.

  1. In Toolkit Hub, go to Bedroom Showcase.
  2. Turn on Fill empty bedrooms from photo captions.
  3. Save.

How matching works. Any bedroom whose photo field is empty displays every listing photo whose caption contains that bedroom’s name, in the same order as the listing gallery. Each photo keeps its full caption in the card and in the lightbox. Matching uses the whole room name and ignores capitalization and punctuation. For example, "Bedroom 1" picks up "Bedroom #1 – Queen" but not "Bedroom 10".

Hand-picking photos. If a bedroom’s photo field already has links in it, those links are used and caption matching is skipped for that room. This lets you still hand-pick photos for individual rooms.

Overriding the setting for one placement. Add match_captions="yes" or match_captions="no" to the [hrtk_bedrooms] shortcode.

If a room stays empty. Check that its photo captions actually contain the room name as shown in the card title. For example, a room listed as "Bedroom 2" whose photos are captioned "Primary Bedroom 2nd Floor" does not match. You can fix this by renaming the captions in your PMS or by filling that room’s photo field manually.
