HomeRunner is fully compatible with Guesty’s Google Vacation Rentals integration. The Booking Engine API key that powers your HomeRunner site is what connects it to Google. Guesty submits your property URLs to Google, and once they validate, Google Vacation Rentals links guests directly to the property page on your HomeRunner website.
Name the API key after your brand. Google displays the name of the API key on the listing.
Choose the booking engine in Guesty. The booking engine Google uses is selected in Guesty under Marketing and Sales, Distribution, Google. Each listing goes through one booking engine. If a listing is published to both a Guesty Booking Engine website and an API key, Guesty gives the website precedence.
Set the property slug source. One setting must be in place for your property URLs to validate:
- In HomeRunner, go to Settings, Sync Settings, Source Mapping.
- Set Additional Property Slug Source to "Source Id".
- Run a sync.
Link format. HomeRunner support registers the Google link format for your site and can confirm the links resolve correctly.
