If places you add or edit in Hostfully Guidebooks no longer appear on your HomeRunner site, the API token used by the daily sync may have expired.
Why this happens. Hostfully Guidebooks API tokens issued between July 10 and September 4, 2026 were created with a 30-day expiry by mistake. Hostfully has confirmed this and corrected it. Tokens issued before July 10 do not expire. When a token expires, the daily sync stops silently: existing recommendations stay on your site, but new or edited places in Hostfully never appear.
How to fix it.
- Contact Hostfully support and ask for a replacement token without an expiry.
- In your WordPress admin, open the HomeRunner for Guidebooks settings page and paste the new token into the API token field.
- Run a manual sync, or wait for the next scheduled one.
Your existing recommendations are kept, and the sync resumes from there.
