Raw [hrck_…] shortcode tags on property pages

You see bracketed strings such as [hrck_…] as plain text on your property pages instead of the tools they should display.

Why this happens. These strings are HomeRunner Conversion Kit shortcodes for premium tools such as Wishlist, Trust Badge, Review Insights, and Price Alerts. They appear as visible raw text when your Conversion Kit premium license has expired or a premium tool has been switched off, because older plugin versions leave the placeholder text on the page instead of rendering nothing.

The free Conversion Kit tools (Rate Comparison, Activity Counter, Split Cost) continue working without a premium license. If those render correctly while the premium ones show raw text, the license is the cause.

How to fix it. There are two parts to the fix:

  1. Update the HomeRunner Conversion Kit plugin to version 1.146.1 or newer via WordPress Dashboard, then Plugins, then Conversion Kit, then Update. From that version onward, any tool that is unlicensed or switched off renders nothing, so the raw text disappears immediately after the update.
  2. To restore the tools themselves (wishlist heart, trust badge, review summary, price alerts, and abandoned-booking recovery emails), your Conversion Kit premium license must be active. Check and renew the license under HomeRunner Conversion Kit in wp-admin. Once the license is active again, the plugin re-validates on its next check and the tools return without any further template changes.

If you switched a tool off intentionally, no further action is needed after the update. Its shortcode simply stays hidden.
