After an emergency repair, you may notice that property pages take 3 to 5 seconds to load and that some plugins no longer receive updates.
Why this happens. WordPress identifies plugins by folder name. A plugin running from a renamed folder can no longer receive updates, so it stays frozen on an old version. Older Conversion Kit versions also set a session cookie on every visit. That cookie prevents page caching, so every property view becomes a slow, uncached render.
What to do. Contact support to correct the renamed plugin installs on your site. This is not something to do yourself from the WordPress admin. Support will:
- Deactivate the renamed copies.
- Install the current plugin ZIPs fresh. These install under the correct folder names and keep all settings, because settings live in the database.
- Verify that the new versions are active.
- Remove the renamed copies.
Once that is done, page loads drop back to normal cached speeds.
