When you text a property link, the preview in the message can show a photo that is not the one you expect. This can come from the page itself or from the phone.
Check what the page is serving. First check what the page is actually serving to phones and social apps. Paste the property link into a link-preview checker such as opengraph.to. If the checker shows the correct photo, your website and your PMS are both fine.
Why this happens. iPhones build the link preview on the sending phone and store it with the message thread. A preview already in a conversation never updates on its own, and iOS has no setting to clear it.
Getting a fresh preview. To get a new preview:
- Delete the message and paste the link again.
- If the old photo still appears, add ?v=2 to the end of the link for that send. The phone treats it as a new URL and builds a new preview, but the link opens the same page.
If the checker shows the wrong photo. Send the exact link to support so the page can be inspected directly.
