Searchbar Pro appears on your homepage, but your search results page still shows the native HomeRunner filter bar.
Why this happens. The results page integration depends on a hook added to the HomeRunner plugin in version 2.4.7. If your HomeRunner plugin is older than that (for example 2.3.x or 2.4.0 through 2.4.6), the toolkit has nothing to hook into and the native filter panel keeps rendering.
How to fix it. No toolkit or page changes are needed. If the native panel is currently showing, the Explorer shortcode on your results page already has filters turned on (filter="1").
- In WordPress admin, go to Plugins and check the HomeRunner plugin version. Update it to 2.5.4 or newer.
- If a page cache plugin is active (Breeze, WP Rocket, etc.), purge the cache after the update.
- Reload the results page. Searchbar Pro now appears above the grid and filters results live without a page reload.
- Optionally, in HomeRunner Toolkit → Searchbar Pro, enable Explorer results count and Explorer sort to restore the results count line and sort dropdown that the native panel used to provide.
- If your site connects to Guesty and you are updating from a version before 2.4.8, make one test booking afterwards, since 2.4.8 updated the Guesty payments integration.
