You renamed a listing in your PMS, but the page title on your website still shows the old name.
Why this happens. On sites configured to pull the page title from a Guesty custom field, renaming the listing itself does not update the title. The page title comes from the website_property_title custom field on the listing, not from the listing title. Renaming the listing in Guesty updates the listing title but leaves that custom field unchanged. This is why the description, which is sourced differently, may update while the page title stays the same.
How to update it.
- Open the listing in Guesty.
- Update the website_property_title custom field to the new name.
- If your site also uses a subtitle field (website_property_subtitle), update that one too.
Your site picks up the change on the next automatic sync, or you can contact support to push a sync through manually.
Changing the page URL. The website_property_slug custom field controls the page URL. If you update that field, the page URL changes, so ask support to add a redirect from the old URL so that existing links and search engine results continue to work.
